The Omnibuzz Building Permit List was created by Edwin “Buzz” Schwenk in 1980. It began as a local, hand written report for the building industries of Long Island.
By 1985, Ann LaWall came on board as chief researcher for the “list” as it has become known. In 1995, Ann became a full partner in Omnibuzz and brought the list to a new level encompassing more information and timely reports.
In 2000, a website was created and the list became an online subscription service that has become popular with the entire building industry and sub contractors .
